About the Command-Line Interface (CLI)

With the Command-Line Interface (CLI) you can perform basic configuration tasks, as well as fine-
tune and manage your ION Accelerator system.

For an introduction to ION Accelerator, as well as First Boot instructions and a variety of best
practices and configuration information, refer to the ION Accelerator Configuration Guide.

Many of the CLI commands can affect data or configurations on a wide variety of devices. Be
sure to use the commands with caution, or try them on a test system if you are unsure of
their potential effects. Use the

--help

option with any command to see its command syntax

and usage.
