This loops over the numbers 1 through 5, printing each of them.

This lists the IDs of drives whose ID starts with

, and prints their
UUIDs.
> each (volumes -o) --where {($1 id) sw vol}
This lists volumes whose IDs start with
vol
.
shell:echo
Echoes or prints arguments, or sends them to the log.
Syntax
shell:echo [options] argument(s)
Options
--stderr
Sends the output to the error stream.
--n
Do not print the trailing newline character.
--log
Send to the log.
