Removing the Hard-Drive Fan(s)
Follow the instructions in “Before You Begin” on page 1. 6.
Remove the left side-panel (see “Removing the Left Side-Panel” on page 2. 15).
Remove the PCI shroud (see “Removing the PCI Shroud“ on page 3. 22).
If you are removing the left hard-drive fan, remove the power supply (see 4.
“Removing the Power Supply” on page 85).
Disconnect the hard-drive fan cables from the HDD_FAN1 and HDD_FAN2 5.
connectors on the master I/O board (see “Master I/O Board Connectors” on
page 12).
Press the hard-drive fan shroud handle down and pull the hard-drive fan out 6.
