Removing the System Board

Follow the instructions in “Before You Begin” on page

1.

Remove the left side-panel (see “Removing the Left Side-Panel” on page

Remove the processor (see “Removing the Processor” on page

Disconnect all cables from the system board. Note the routing of all cables

as you remove them so that you can re-route them correctly after installing

the new system board.

Remove the two screws that secure the system-board tray to the chassis.

Carefully remove the system-board tray from the chassis.

10.

NOTE: Do not remove the system board from the system-board tray. The

system-board tray is shipped together with the replacement system

board.
