System Messages

 

System messages appear on the console during POST to notify you of a possible problem with the system. If you are performing console redirection, system
messages will appear on the console.

Table 2

lists the system messages that can occur and the probable cause and corrective action for each message.

Ensure that the diskette/CD-drive subsystem and hard drives are properly installed. If the

problem persists, replace the diskette/CD-drive subsystem. See "

OS Install Mode is enabled in the

System Setup program.

 

Disable OS Install Mode in the System Setup program. See "Using the System Setup

Replace the mouse. If the problem persists, replace the keyboard.
