After Using the Camera

It is particularly important to wash the camera if it has

been used in dirty water or salt water.

1. Since the inside of the camera is not waterproof, make

sure that the back cover and the battery lid is closed

tightly.
• Do not rub lens, finders, or flash lights if they are dirty.
• After you use the camera in the sea, leave the

camera in clean water for a few hours. Salt can cause

the camera to rust.

2. Place the camera in a bucket filled with water, then

gently swish the camera from side to side to remove

dirt and sand.

3. Wipe all moisture from the camera with a dry, soft cloth

and leave it to dry in the shade

A

* * Do not wash the camera under running water such as

running water from a tap

• Do not attempt to speed up drying with a dryer or other

heat sources.

• Do not wash this camera in the washing machine
