Sending documents
The hAXPHONE beeps once to indicate that the document has been sent success­
ful I v.
TRANSMITTING OK
If an error occurs during sending, the FAXPHONE beeps intermittently for a few
seconds. ilThis happens, try sending the fax again.
riic KXXPHONE automatically redials if the receiving fax does not answerer if the
line is busy. (You cati specify the number of times it redials; see AUTO REDIAL in
TX SETTING.S. pg.88)
To stop sending before the fax is finished, press |.STOP|. Then you may need to lift
the operation panel to remove the document, see Clearing document jams, pg.62.
If the .ALAR.M light is flashing, correct the error and then press |STOP|. Refer to
Error codes, messages ;ind solutions. pg.l09.

Press the One-touch Speed dialing button as­
signed to the number to which you wish to fax.

Press [CODED DIAL/DIRECTORY] and enter the
appropriate two-digit Coded Speed Dialing code.
Wait a second for the number to appear after the
name of the number.
I If no number is registered for the button or code
\aui pressed, the LCD display shows the NO TEL#
message. Make sure you pressed the correct button
or entered the correct code and that the number you
v\ ant to dial is registered correctly.
I If you make a mistake, press [STOP]. Then press
the correct One-Touch Speed Dialing button or
press ¡CODED DIAL/DIRECTORY] and re-enter
the code.
I If the ALARM light is Hashing for any reason,
correct the error and press ¡STOP]. If necessary,
refer to Troubleshooting, pg. 104.
