Introduction and description
This operators guide covers the FHR-120 and FHR-120 VR robotic pan and tilt heads that form
part of the Vinten Radamec Fusion range of products.
FHR-120 robotic head
The FHR-120 pan and tilt head has been designed for use either as a standalone device or for
seamless integration with Fusion robotic/manual pedestals and the Fusion FBH-175 (bolt-on)
height drive, where manual capability is not likely to be required.
FHR-120 robotic head with VR output
The FHR-120 VR pan and tilt head has been designed to operate with the Fusion Virtual Reality
(FVR) box and the Fusion range of pedestals and height drives. A 12V output from the FHR-120
VR head is used to power the FVR box (refer to the Fusion VR box installation and configuration
guide for details).
Each pan and tilt head contains its own power supply unit, allowing for mains to be taken into the
head, either from the pedestal, or directly from the studio supply.
Lens drive
The integral lens drive has automatic configuration for directly driving full servo digital Canon and
Fujinon broadcast lenses.
