Installing the System in the Rack

CAUTION: If you are installing more than one system, install the first system in
the lowest available position in the rack.
CAUTION: Never pull more than one component out of the rack at a time.
Pull the two slide assemblies out of the гаек until they loek in the extended position.
CAUTION: Because of the size and weight of the system, never attempt to install
the system in the slide assemblies by yourself.
2 Lift the system into position in front of the extended slides.
3 Align the inner rails you installed on the sides of the system with the open portion of
the slide assemblies (see Figure 1-8).
3 Push the system into the slide assemblies until the system stops (see Figure 1-8).
5 Press in on the release lateh on eaeh extended slide and push the ehassis into the raek
(see Figure 1-8).
6 Push in and turn the eaptive thumbserews on eaeh side of the front ehassis panel to
seeure the system to the raek.
