TONE, FLASN and REDIAL/FAUSE bytoni

The TONE {*) button is used for rotary pulse dial

services and allows you to temporarily change from
pulse to tone mode during a dialing operation.
When you hang up, the unit will automatically return to

the pulse mode.

The FLASH button functions as the hookswitch on a

regular phone. If you misdial or dial another phone

number, press the FLASH button firmly.

The FLASH button also allows you to use special
features of a host exchange (if connected) or local
telephone company services such as call waiting. For
further details, contact your local telephone company.

Note:

oTONE, FLASH and PAUSE can be stored

into a phone number for automatic dialing.

Redialimig №e last numbeir dialed

If the REDIAL7PAUSE button is pressed immediately after a dial tone is obtained, the last number dialed will

be redialed.

. Lift the handset or press

(SP-PHON]^.

2. Press

(REDIAL/PAUSE).

o|f the line is busy when using the SP-PHONE button, the unit will automatically redial the number up to

14 times.

Enteiriinig pauses

If the REDIAL7PAUSE button is pressed during dialing, a pause will be inserted.

Example-1:

When your unit is connected to a host exchange, insert a pause to get an outside tine.

Example-2:

If transmission errors occur when making an overseas transmission, add two pauses at the end

of the phone number.
