Using Password Transmission

To use Password Transmission, you can select PASSWORD-XMT OFF or ON for each Transmission by
following the procedure below.

If your machine’s Transmission Password coincides with

the other station’s Transmission Password, your machine

starts sending the document.

When transmission is completed, PASSWORD-XMT

returns to standard setting (OFF or ON).

Using Password Receiving

There is no additional operation required once you set the parameter following the procedure on the previous
page. The parameter, OFF or ON, cannot be selected for each reception. It is always OFF or ON until you
change the setting.
