Before oiling the upper part of the sewing unit at points indicated by arrows in Fig. 22 turn
hand wheel toward you until the take-up lever is at its lowest point.
Avoid over oiling, only a drop is needed at each
point.
Be sure all points indicated by a red spot receive a
drop of oil. Open face cover plate for oiling needle
bar mechanism, tip machine back on its hinges for oil
