1, First finish the raw edge. Do
this by turning, it up on fine
fabrics and overcasting it on
medium to heavyweight ones.
Then turn the hem up the
required depth and press,
SETTiMGS
Zigzag width ~ 3 to 4
Stitch length - 4
Speed range - LOW
2, Now f o l d the fabric as
iilustratec.
3. With the wrong side up, place
the fabric under the foot.
Lower the presser foot. Stitch
so that the needle just pierces
the fold when the needle
swings to the left.
4, When completed, the stitch­
ing is almost invisible on the
right side of the fabric.
