Fuel and oil

The engine in model 1100 CD is a two-stroke
and obtains its lubrication from the oil that is
blended with the petrol. See the section on fuel
and lubrication. Use regular petrol (90-94 octane)
and a good-quality two-stroke oil. Special chain
lubricating oil should also be used.
Fill up the petrol tank and the oil tank at the
same time. Their capacities are such that they
should both last for about the same length of
time.
Kraftstoff und Dl
Die Motorsäge 1100 CD wird von einem Zweitakt­
motor angetrieben. Für die Schmierung muss dem
Benzin öl zugesetzt werden. Siehe den Abschnitt
über Kraftstoff und Schmierung. Benzin mit der
Oktanzahl 90—94 und ein gutes Zweitaktöl ver­
wenden. Für die Kette wird ein spezielles Ketten­
schmieröl benötigt.
Benzin- und Öltank gleichzeitig füllen. Der Inhalt
beider Behälter reicht ungefähr gleich lang.
Carburant et huile
La 1100 CD est équipée d'un moteur 2 temps,
dont la lubrification est assurée par l'intermédiaire
d'huile mélangée à l'essence. Voir: "Carburant
et lubrification". Pour ce mélange, utilisez de
l'essence à 90-94% d'octane et une huile 2
temps de bonne qualité. Pour la lubrification de
la chaîne, il convient de choisir une huile spéciale.
Procédez en même temps au remplissage des
réservoirs d'essence et d'huile. Ils sont en effet
dimensionnés de manière à correspondre à une
durée d'utilisation approximativement identique.

Cold engine
Pull out the choke and set the throttle to the
starting position. First press in the throttle safety
catch, open the throttle fully and press in the
starting throttle ratchet. Then release the throttle
lever.

Die Startklappe schliessen und die Startgassperre
betätigen. Zuerst die Gashebelsperre eindrücken,
Vollgas geben und die Startgassperre nieder­
drücken. Dann den Gashebel loslassen.

Moteur froid
Tirez sur le starter et enclenchez le blocage
démarrage. Enfoncez tout d'abord le blocage des
gaz, puis mettez en position plein gaz et enfoncez
le blocage démarrage. Lâchez ensuite la com­
mande des gaz.
