Switch between Handset and Speaker
To switch from Handset to Speaker Mode
While on a call:
1. Press the line or SPEAKER.
2. Place the handset on hook to transition the call from the handset to the
speaker mode.
NOTE: If you press line or Speaker and you don’t hear the caller (when
answering a call) or a dial tone (when making a call), check to
make sure that the Headset Mode is not on (see "Using the
Headset" below).
To Switch from Speaker Mode to Handset
While on a call:
Pick up the handset to remove the call from speaker mode, and continue
the conversation.
Adjust Speaker Volume
You can easily adjust the volume of the speaker during a call.
While on a call:
Use the VOLUME down (-) and up (+) to adjust the volume
of the caller’s voice.
Hint: This also works for adjusting the volume of the handset.
