OEM LCD Option (Requires FAST Upgrade)
The OEM LCD option permits the user to specify three pieces of information in the
equipment.
• Line 1 of the LCD display.
• Line 2 of the LCD display.
• The identification of the unit when the remote port is interrogated for “equipment
type.”
If the manufacturer is to program this data into the equipment prior to delivery, the user
must specify the three strings. The manufacturer requires the string information ( as
specified in Column 4). The instructions for programming of the data via equipment’s
remote port is as follows:

Notes:
1. A space in the display is created by the exponent character (^) in the string.
2. If a single question mark (?) is used as the OEM string 2, then the current version
of the M&C firmware is displayed. This is the usual entry.
3. Spaces are not allowed in OEM string 3. Use an underscore ( _ ) as a separator
between characters, see example:

yyyy
Correct: xxxx_yyyy
