Output channel controls.

get or set output volume: ov

The value indicates the output volume level, in ½ dB steps. The output volume is an integer between -128 and 48

(-64.0 dB to +24 dB). A volume of -64.0 dB mutes the output. The output volume adjustment occurs in the digital

amplifier.

PLEASE NOTE: output volume levels above +12.5 dB should be used with caution.

Example:

=sov:-41!

set output volume to -20.5 dB

change output volume by specified value (valid for set only): ovstep

The value indicates the relative output volume adjustment, in ½ dB steps. The volume adjustment is an integer

between -12 and 12 (-6.0 dB to +6.0 dB). This command allows relative adjustment of the current output volume.

When this command is used, the amplifier will respond with the new volume level, as if a “get” command had been

issued.

Examples:

=sovstep:-8!

decrease output volume by 4.0 dB

=sovstep:5!

increase output volume by 2.5 dB

get or set output mute control: omute

The value indicates whether the output mute control is off (not muted) or on (muted), and is an unsigned integer

between 0 and 1. Changing the output mute control does not change the output volume setting.

0 = output not muted

1 = output muted

Example:

=somute:1!

mute output
