CHAPTER 5

MAINTAINING THE DR WIDE-CUT LAWN

MOWER

This chapter covers regular maintenance procedures that will ensure the best performance and long life of
your machine. For Engine maintenance, please refer to the Engine Owner’s Manual that came with your
Mower. Service intervals listed in the checklist below supercede those listed in the Engine Owner’s Manual.

Maintenance Kits and accessories are available through our website at www.DRPower.com.

SOME OF THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURES REQUIRE ACCESS TO THE UNDERSIDE OF THE MACHINE. IF
YOU NEED TO TIP THE MACHINE BACK OR ON ITS SIDE (WITH THE DISCHARGE CHUTE FACING UP),
YOU MUST FIRST DISCONNECT THE SPARK PLUG WIRE, DRAIN THE OIL AND GAS, AND REMOVE THE AIR
FILTERS.
