BEFORE PERFORMING ANY MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE OR INSPECTION, STOP THE ENGINE AND WAIT
FIVE (5) MINUTES TO ALLOW ALL PARTS TO COOL. DISCONNECT THE SPARK PLUG WIRE, KEEPING IT
AWAY FROM THE SPARK PLUG.

The Blades will not
Engage and/or
Disengage.
⇒ Be sure you are holding down on the Operator Presence Lever.
⇒ Faulty Blades Control Switch. Remove and replace the Switch on the Control
Panel.
⇒ An open and/or shorted Blades Control Wiring Harness. Remove and replace
the Blades Control Wiring Harness w/Solenoid.

The Blades do not
cut or are loose.
⇒ The Blades may not be seated properly on the Hubs. Loosen the Blade Bolts,
reseat the Blades, and tighten the Bolts. Be sure to turn OFF the Engine and
remove the Spark Plug wire before performing this operation.
⇒ Sharpen the Blades; they may be dull or nicked. Be sure to replace the Blades in
the proper orientation. See page 32.
Wheels pulling left
or right.
⇒ Check the Wheel Tire pressures against the manufacturer’s recommendation
listed on the side of the Tires.
