disassemble battery; there are no user serviceable parts
inside. Do Not expose to fire, this could result in an
explosion, and the release of toxic fumes. DO dispose of
the battery properly; cover the contacts with a non-
conductive material and recycle.

The Lithium Ion battery packs are classified by the
United States Federal Government as non-hazardous
waste and are safe for disposal in the normal municipal
waste stream per your local regulations. These batteries,
however, do contain recyclable materials and are
accepted for recycling by the Rechargeable Battery
Recycling Corporation's (RBRC) Battery Recycling
Program. Go to the RBRC website at www.rbrc.org for
additional information.

Although the battery packs are disposable, please follow
these Warnings and Cautions.

When Using the Battery

Misusing the battery may cause the battery to get
hot, explode, or ignite and cause serious injury.
Be sure to follow the safety rules listed below:

• Do not place the battery in fire or heat the

battery.

• Do not install the battery backwards so that the

polarity is reversed.

• Do not connect the positive terminal and the

negative terminal of the battery to each other
with any metal object (such as wire).

• Do not carry or store the batteries together with

necklaces, hairpins, or other metal objects.
