Branching tree connections
If you are using a device that has three or more i.LINK connectors, you
may want to connect other devices in branches. You can connect up
to 17 devices including this unit in this manner.

The system will not work if a device receives the same signal that it
output. Be careful not to create a loop.

An i.LINK connection is necessary for multichannel playback of a
Super Audio CD without downmixing.
The i.LINK interface of this unit is designed in accordance
with the following specifications.
1) IEEE Std 1394a-2000, Standard for a High Performance
Serial Bus
2) Audio and Music Data Transmission Protocol 2.0
Among the AM824 sequence adaptation layers of this
protocol, this unit is compatible with IEC 60958 bitstream
and Super Audio CD.
