CONTROL PANELS

CONTROL PANEL OVERVIEW

The main control panel is actually composed of three
sub-panels, which include the (1) engine panel which
controls and provides information on the engine, the
(2) light panel,which controls the tower lights, and the
(3) auxiliary power panel, which provides power.

Controls engine functions.

Includes the main electrical circuit
breaker and controls all electric
outlets.

Quad gauge
(optional)

Includes gauges for oil pressure,
volts, water temperature, and fuel
level.

LSC Mode
Switch
(optional)

For Light Sequencing Commander
with Timer (option). Set the switch
to the “Photo Eye” position to
enable the engine to start and
lights to come on upon sensing the
change in ambient light. Set the
switch to “Timer” position to have
the engine start and lights come on
at a specific time.

Tower
position
(vertical &
electric
laydown
towers)

Switch to UP position to raise the
tower, or the DOWN position to
lower the tower. The ignition key
must be in the “Run” position.

Hour meter

Indicates the total number of hours
that the engine has been in
operation.

Ignition key CAT & Kubota—Turn the key switch

to the left to preheat the glow plug.
After 10 seconds, turn the key to
the right to turn on the engine.

Isuzu—Turn the key switch to the
left to preheat the glow plug. When
the glow plug indicator glows, turn
the key to the right to start the
engine.

Glow plug
indicator

Indicates when the glow plug is
ready to start the engine.
