2. Normally, the IPS management component can discover and add UTM devices automatically. For
device that the IPS management component cannot discover automatically, you need to add them
to the component manually. To do so, select the IPS management component, and then select
Devices under Device Management from the navigation tree to enter the device management page.
Then, click Add to enter the page for adding UTM devices, as shown in Figure 231 .

After you configure the UTM devices and add the UTM devices to the H3C SecCenter, the SecCenter
system is configured basically and ready for service operations.
NOTE:
When configuring the UTM device and SecCenter:
• Enable SNMP for communications between the UTM device and SecCenter.
• A reachable route exists from the UTM device to the SecCenter.
