6 Verifying Operation
6 Verifying Operation
After properly wiring and installing the option, use the following procedure to check for
normal operation:
1.
Make sure the unit main circuit power is on, 24 Vdc external power is supplied to the
24 V connector plug, and the 24 V connector plug is connected to the option.
2.
Switch off the main power supply to the unit. The 24 Vdc external power supply
should provide power to the unit control unit.
3.
Check for the red LED on the option indicating proper option operation.
4.
The digital operator on the unit will display “Uv” for about 10 seconds to indicate an
undervoltage condition on the unit.
If “Uv” does not flash on the display screen, check the wiring. If “Uv” fails to appear
on the digital operator after confirming proper wiring, the unit or option may be
damaged.
