Basic Operations and Setups

How to read the printouts…

• The journal and receipts are records of all transactions and operations.
• The contents printed on receipts and journal are identical, except the date printing line. (The date line is

printed on receipts and reports.)

If the journal skip function is selected, the cash register will print the total amount of each transaction,
and the details of premium, discount and reduction operations only, without printing department and
PLU item registrations on the journal.

• The following items can be skipped on receipts and journal.

• Time

In the operation examples contained in this manual, the print samples are what would be produced if the roll
paper is being used for receipts. They are not actual size. Actual receipts are 58 mm wide. Also, all sample
receipts and journals are printout images.
