Cleaning
WARNING! DANGER TO LIFE DUE TO ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Risk of injury when cleaning the appliance!
To avoid risks, observe the following safety instructions:
► Remove the mains cable plug 3 from the mains socket before cleaning the
appliance.
The motor unit 4 should not be submerged in liquid.
CAUTION
Damage to the appliance!
► To avoid irreparable damage, ensure that no moisture can get into the mo-
tor unit 4 when you are cleaning the appliance.
► When cleaning the surfaces use neither abrasive or chemical cleaners, nor
sharp or scratchy objects.
■ As it is diffi cult to remove dried-on dough residue, always clean the biscuit
shaper and the pattern discs w used directly after use.
■ Dismantle the Biscuit Shaper completely.
■ With the exception of the motor unit 4, all of the components can be
cleaned in the dishwasher or mild soapy water. All parts except the motor
unit 4 are dishwasher-proof.
■ Clean the motor unit 4 with a damp cloth. For stubborn soiling use a mild
detergent on the cloth. Afterwards, wipe off with a cloth moistened only with
water to ensure that no detergent remains on the appliance. Remove any
dough residue from the joint of the handle.
