Making the Destination setting

Use the Destination list to select a predefined destination, or
output device, where the scanned image is to be printed or
displayed.

Refer to the following chart to help choose a suitable predefined
setting for your document.

Once you make the settings explained above, you can preview
your document and make further settings to adjust the image
quality, or you can scan your document without previewing it.
To preview the document, see the next section. To scan your
document, see “Scanning and saving” on page 4-19.

Screen/Web

Prepress
(175, 150, 133, 120 lpi)

Optimize for prepress printing at 175, 150, 133,
or 120 lines per inch

LineWork scan

Optimize for LineWork scanning

EPSON Stylus Printer
(Fine or Photo)

When using an EPSON Stylus printer and
printing scanned images with the Economy,
Normal, or Fine Print Quality settings in your
printer software, select EPSON Stylus Printer
(Fine). When printing with the SuperFine or
Photo Print Quality settings, select EPSON
Stylus Printer (Photo).

Optimize for printing on a laser printer
