For Windows 98 users
Follow the instructions below to install the scanner software on
your Windows 98 system.
Note:
If you plan to upgrade from Windows 98 to a newer Windows operating
system, do not install the scanner software until you have finished
upgrading your system.
1. Connect your scanner to your computer and turn on the
scanner and then your computer.
Note:
It is important to follow this power on sequence if you are using a
SCSI interface. Otherwise the Plug and Play feature will not work.
2. When the dialog box below or similar appears, insert the
scanner software CD in the CD-ROM drive, then click Next .
