Then remove the upper plate “Q”. Remove it from its seat by lifting it and then tilting it slightly downwards.
Scrape the walls of the firebox with a rigid rod or a bottle brush into plate “Q” that has just been removed, for the ash to fall into the lower
part where the inspection holes are located (under plates “R”).
Loosen the bolts and remove the inspection plates “R” beneath the ash pan, and use the brush and nozzle of the vacuum cleaner to remove
the ash and soot accumulated in the heat exchanger.
Then reassemble all the parts by following the above-mentioned steps in reverse order.
