2.3 Linux Driver Installation
The WNL‐U554A supports the following Linux platform:
 Linux Kernel 2.6.18~2.6.35
To install in Linux operation system, please refer to the README text file in the Linux_Driver folder
included in the bundled CD. And also under the /Linux_Driver/document/ folder, the following
documents are included:

 How to enable the power saving functionality.doc
 How to support more VidPids.doc
 How to support new platform(including Android).doc
 Wireless tools porting guide.doc
 wpa_cli_with_wpa_supplicant_20100728.doc
Obtain the Linux driver source code from the bundled CD, and build the driver for the
Linux OS that you are using.
