6 Set the Mode dial to < A >

All the necessary camera settings
will be set automatically.
7 Focus on the subject ( = 54).

any face detected.

Press the shutter button halfway,
and the camera will focus on the
subject.

Take the picture ( = 54).
z Press the shutter button completely
to take the picture.
9 Review the picture.
z The image just captured will be
displayed for approx. 2 sec. on the
screen.
z To display the image again, press
the <
x
> button ( = 296).
z To view the images captured so far, see “Image Playback” ( = 296).
z To delete images, see “Erasing Images” ( = 314).
