Choosing a Shooting Mode

Choose a shooting mode according to the scene or type
of subject.

When the mode dial is rotated to

AUTO

,

the camera automatically optimizes set-
tings to suit the scene.

The display shows the icon for the mode
most closely matching the type of scene
detected by the camera.
