Disabling the Beeper
To disable the beeper:

Use the Intermec Settings applet to gather, view, and update device
configuration settings. Information about the settings you can configure
with the Intermec Settings applet is in the Intermec Computer Command
Reference Manual (P/N 073529) available online at

Tap Start > Settings > Control Panel. Double-tap the Volume &
Sounds icon, then tap the Volume tab.

Tap the Soft button to drag the slider bar all the way to the left.
Tap Start > Settings > Control Panel, then double-tap the Intermec
Settings icon to access the applet.
