8. Press the [ENT] key to transmit the position

request DSC call.

9. When the GX5500S receives the position from

the polled vessel it is shown on the radio dis-
play and also transferred to the GPS Chart plot-
ter.

When a position request call is received from another vessel, a ringing alarm

play, press the [CLR] key.
