Setting System Parameters

You should not change the following settings without a good reason, as
they are factory settings or operating settings that are tailored to your
receiving system.
New settings are only required if the receiving system is changed.
The selected menus, sub-menus and positions, as well as the
parameters to be set, are each highlighted in colour. The menus are
self-explanatory to a great extent.
Help for the selected item is available by pressing

. Press

again to exit the Help menu.
The “System Parameters” menu is reached from the main menu
(open with the

key). Use the

keys to go to the “System
Parameters” option, and confi rm your selection with

.
The following screen appears:
The items are highlighted using the

keys, selected
with the

key and set or changed with the


keys or the
number keys.
Child Protection
This topic is dealt with in detail in the “Password and Child Protection”
section.
System Information
Under the “System Information” option, you will fi nd factory settings
that cannot be changed, and are only intended for service purposes.
Press the

key to return to the “System Parameters” sub-menu.
