4. Select the source to be recorded. (Except for TAPE

input)

The input source component to
be recorded should be displayed.

÷ If a disc has already been loaded when the CD input is selected, it starts to

play automatically. In this case, press the

7 (stop) key to stop it.

÷ When you select VIDEO/6ch IN (NV-701 only) or MD/DVD (NV-301 only)

to

record the external input, adjust the input level.

Select CD, TUNER, or MD/DVD
(NV-301 only) or VIDEO/6ch IN
(NV-701 only) input for the source.

Start recording.

Play (or tune) the input source to be recorded.

5. Start recording.

÷ If a disc has already been loaded

when the CD input is selected, it
will starts recording automatically.

÷ Recording stops automatically

when the tape side(s) to be re-
corded have been fully recorded.

÷ Press the stop (7) key of the cas-

sette deck unit to stop recording
(see the next page).

To pause recording (Main unit only)

÷ Pressing the SET () key pauses recording after

leaving a non-recorded space of about 4 seconds.

÷ If the key is pressed again in less than 4 seconds after it

has been pressed, recording resumes from that instant.
