Tips in CD recording

When recording CD tracks onto a tape, if you leave

the cassette deck in record-pause mode beforehand,

the cassette deck recording can be started at the same

time as the CD starts to be played (synchronous re-

cording function).

Set the CD player in pause mode.

Select the track to be recorded with the
MULTI CONTROL (

4, ¢) keys.

(The CD player pauses at the beginning of
the selected track.)

Put the cassette deck in record-pause mode.
(Press the SET (

) key twice in succession.)

Start playing the CD.
(Synchronous recording starts.)

÷ Recording stops when the 7 (stop) key is pressed.

Beat cancel function

In some cases, noise may be produced while record-

ing AM (MW/LW) stations. When this occurs, press

the TUNER (BAND) key while the unit is in the record

pause mode to reduce or eliminate the noise for a bet-

ter recording.

off alternately.
