Listening to the sound of a Kenwood digital audio player

During playback, press the

6 key [D.AUDIO 6 key

on the remote].

Press the

7 (STOP) key.

[Connecting a model compatible with digital audio link]

The following operations can be performed from the main unit.

[Connecting to any other digital audio player]

Perform digital audio player playback, volume adjustment, and other operations.

÷ Each press of the key pause and plays alternately.

Adjusting the external input level

This adjusts the input level for the digital audio con-
nected to the D.AUDIO IN terminal . Adjust the level
for the external input sources to sound like an
equivalent volume to CD.

Press the MODE key and select "INPUT
LEVEL" by turning the INPUT SEL./MULTI
CONTROL knob. Then press the SET key.

Select input level. Then press the SET key.

÷ Operation with the remote control also is possible.

In that case, press the MULTI CONTROL

%/fi key

on the remote control instead of turning the INPUT

SEL./MULTI CONTROL knob.

÷ Adjustment is possible at the range of –7 to +7.

÷ Even when the sound mode has been set for a digital audio player, the setting becomes Off while the player is con-

nected to this unit.

÷ The volume key of the digital audio player cannot be used for volume adjustment.
÷ When the use of the digital audio player is to be ended, switch off the power for both units, and then pull the connection

cord from the terminal of this unit.

Fast forward and backward

During playback, press and hold the

4/1, ¡/

¢ key [press and hold the 4, ¢ key on the
remote].

÷ Press and hold one of the keys during playback. Nor-

mal playback resumes at the point where the key is
released.

To skip tracks

÷ The file in the direction of the key pressed is skipped,

and the selected track will be played from the begin-
ning.

÷ When the 4 key is pressed once during playback,

the file being played will be played from the beginning.
