Sample messages log
The messages log is the general operating system log. It contains boot or deadstart
commentary, system-level warnings, and error messages.
In the excerpt below, the third line from the top shows the SP Switch Router Adapter card,
DEV1, being configured with its interface name,
gt020 .
This is a sample messages log from the SP Switch Router with host name
