PAPER CORE
ROTATION ERROR
The paper core is located to the left of the media input assembly when loading
media rolls. If the roll is installed properly, it will snap into place with the hub of
the sensor and will rotate that hub as the media is fed through the press.
First make certain that the media is installed correctly as described in section 4-D.
If the media is installed correctly, make sure the Media Input Assembly Interface
cable is installed correctly as described in section 4-G. Once the problem has been
corrected, press the Retry button to continue printing.
PRINTER:
PAPER JAM
This error will occur if the press can not internally detect paper movement. It is
rare, but if the media has separated from its backing inside the printer portion of
the press it would cause a paper jam. To clear a jam, do the following:
1. Cancel the print job from Windows Spooler or PressPrint.
2. Open the printer cover and remove the ribbon.
3. When the printer cover is open, use the Cancel button to force the
media/ribbon to reverse through the press, and use the Retry button to force
the media/ ribbon forward through the press. If this does not help, remove the
print pressure bracket as described in section 4-D. This will allow any ribbon or
paper to be removed with ease.
4. Reload the paper as described in section 4-D.
5. Close the lid of the unit and press both the Cancel and Retry buttons
simultaneously to reset the press.
