CUTTER PAPER
LOADING ERROR
This will occur if the paper is unable to feed into the cutter. The most common
cause would be the paper is not properly installed in the press. If this error occurs,
take the following steps:
1. Cancel the job Windows Spooler or Press Print.
2. Open the Printer Hood. Inspect the press for a media jam.
3. Open the Cutter Door and inspect the cutter area for debris. Clean the area if
necessary.
4. Remove the ribbon.
5. Remove and reinstall the media according to the instructions on 4-C.
6. Reinstall the ribbon
7. Close the Printer Hood and press both the Cancel and Retry buttons to reset
the press.
8. Resend your print job.
CUTTER: CARRIAGE
MOTOR STALL
This message will be displayed if the cutter motor is unable to move the blade
back and forth across the page. If this occurs, it is most likely because the cutter
pressure is too great. You can reduce the cutter pressure with out canceling the job.
Simply slide the cutter pressure switch to the left to reduce the pressure setting by
5 (the setting is displayed on the LCD). Press the Retry button on your press's
control panel to attempt to cut again.
