SCSI Bus ribbon cables are fragile and can be damaged by pulling on the cable in-

stead of the pull-tab provided at each connector.

Carefully disconnect the AUXPWR cable from the PWRIN connector on the Fibre
Channel Option. See Figure 9-3.

Carefully disconnect the SERIAL ribbon cable from the FCO_A connector on the
Fibre Channel Option. For those FCOs that also have Q-Link, carefully discon-
nect the SERIAL ribbon cable from the Q_Link connector on the FCO. See
Figure 9-3.

7.

Slowly lift the FCO until it touches the rear of the TLS. Using a Phillips screw-
driver, secure the Fibre Channel Option to the rear of the TLS by tightening the
two top captive screws. See Figure 9-4.
