Introduction This section provides procedures that explain:
• Removing the Carrier Expansion Card
• Installing Ethernet PMCs on the Carrier Expansion Card
• Replacing the Carrier Expansion Card
Hot Swap
Information The Carrier Expansion Card is hot-swappable and can be removed without powering
down the router. However, the node must be reset, and data loss can result.
