Border Erase

The Border Erase feature allows you to select the desired amount of the image to
be erased on all four edges of the scan to print output. Erasing borders
eliminates the shadows that are caused by the document edges during the
scanning process.

Touch the More... tab in the Tools Mode screen.

Touch the Feature Defaults 1 tab.

Touch the Edge/Center Erase button. The Edge Center Erase screen appears.

Touch the Border Erase button. Border Erase options appear on the right side of
the screen.

Use the up or down arrow buttons to select the desired amount of image to be
erased on the borders of the print. The range available is 0 to 50mm.

Touch the Close button to return to the Feature Defaults 1 screen.
