The following table provides information on Initialization screen options and
what they do.
The digital press allows a total of 300 User and General Accounts. The system
automatically determines the maximum number of General Accounts by
subtracting the number of User Accounts that you set.
The Initialization screen enables you to change the number of User Accounts and
General Accounts by touching the up or down arrow button on this screen. As
you change the maximum number of User Accounts, the maximum number of
General Accounts changes accordingly.
If you change the number of User and General Accounts, a message appears at
the top of the screen when you touch the Close button. This message informs
you that you must Initialize the Auditron after changing the maximum number of
User and General Accounts. Touch the Initialize Auditron button. A
confirmation screen asks if you are sure you want to initialize the Auditron.
Responding with a “Yes” enters your changes into the system and deletes all
established accounts.
Option What it does
Reset All Print
Limits Touch this button to reset the print limit to No Limit
for all User Accounts. A confirmation screen asks
you if you are sure you want to reset all copy limits.
Responding with a “Yes” resets the print limit for all
User Accounts to No Limit.
Reset All
Meters Touch this button to reset the meter counts for all
User Accounts and General Accounts at one time. A
confirmation screen asks if you are sure you want to
reset all meters. Responding with a “Yes” resets the
meter counts for all User Accounts and General
Accounts to zero.
Initialize
Auditron Touch this button to reset all User Account and
General Account information and passwords. A
confirmation screen asks if you are sure you want to
initialize the Auditron. Responding with a “Yes”
deletes all established accounts. The Tools Mode
password is returned to the factory default of five
1’s.
