The MoRoS contains an internal clock for controlling time-dependent

events and dating system messages. Set the time, select the proper

time zone and activate the time synchronization.

9.6 Set up measured value transmission

Select the menu item "Instrument settings - Event list" and press the

button "New". An assistant will now lead you through the configura-

tion.
1. Select in the first window under "Message type" the list entry

"WEB-VV" or "WEB-VV (encoded)".

2. In the second step enter the name or the IP address of the WEB-

VV server. If you’re using the VEGA servers (VEGA Hosting/

WEB-VV VH), enter the URL "web-vv.vega.com" here. If you have

a server of your own (Local Hosting/WEB-VV LH), you can get

the server name or the IP address from your responsible network

administrator.

3. In the last step, define when or how often the measured values

are transmitted. Please remember that costs arise with every

measured value transmission, depending on the type of connec-

tion.

4. Transfer your settings to the signal conditioning instrument.
After completing the configuration, you should start a test transmis-

sion to the WEB-VV server. Then contact the WEB-VV administrator.

He will allocate the new instrument network accordingly and release

the measured values for your inspection.
