epending on the failure reason and measures taken, the
steps described in chapter "Set up" must be carried out again,
if necessary.
8.3 Exchanging the electronics module
I
f the electronics module is defective, it can be replaced by the
user.
I
n Ex applications only one oscillator with respective Ex
approval may be used.
I f there is no electronics module available on site, one can be
ordered from the agency serving you.
T he new oscillator must contain the order data of the sensor.
T hese can be loaded as follows:

t the factory by VEGA
l
O r on site by the user
Information:
W
hen loading on site, first of all the order data must be
downloaded from the Internet (see operating instructions
manual "Oscillator").
I
n both cases, the serial number of VEGAFLEX 66 is required.
T he serial numbers are stated on the type label of VEGAFLEX
66, on the inner wall of the housing or on the delivery note.
T he oscillators are adapted to the respective sensor and differ
in their signal output or in their power supply. You can find a
suitable oscillator in the following overview.
E lectronics module FX-E.60H suitable for VEGAFLEX 61, 62,
63, 65, 66 - 4 … 20 mA/HART:

FX-E. 60HX (X = without approvals)

FX-E. 60HA (A = approvals CA, DA according to product
