Attach Parani-SD200L to serial port of host computer and power on the Parani-SD200L. Check
Connect LED and Standby LED

Connect LED Standby LED Meanings
On Off Connected to somewhere
Blinking Off Connecting to somewhere or waiting for incoming connection.
Off Blinking Waiting for AT commands.
Make sure that the Connect LED is turned off and the Stanby LED is turned on before attempting to
send any kind of AT commands to the Parani -SD200L. Then launch HyperTerminal, it can usually be
found in start >programs >accessories >communication >HyperTerminal. Select the Serial port that
Parani-SD200L is connected to.
Select the Serial port setting in the window displayed, please make sure the serial settings in
Hyperterminal are set to the same settings as the Parani-SD200L’s serial settings.
To view the AT commands that are being typed, you will need to enable the local echo option. Go to
File->Properties->Settings->ASCII setup and select the “Echo typed characters locally” option.
