USEFUL ADVICE

• Always warm the plates before placing the food.

• Particularly thick meat must first be cooked at maximum temperature, then at a lower

temperature, so as to allow the heat to also reach inside.

• Sausages tend to crackle while cooking. Prick them with a fork before cooking.

• A better result is achieved with fresh meat rather than defrosted or frozen meat.

• Vegetables can be brushed with oil before being grilled.

• Wrap food that is to be defrosted in aluminium foil and warm them slowly at the lowest

temperature.

• All food (as long as they are not too fatty or full of liquid) can be cooked wrapped in

greaseproof paper, so as not to dirty the plates.

USE

Proceed as follows after having assembled the appliance:

• Insert the electric plug (14) in the socket.

• Close the grill and insert the liquid drain tray (15).

• Select the desired cooking temperature by turning the thermostat (4) [F].

• Set the switch O / I (1) to position I: the mains connection red LED (5) lights up.

• Wait for the ready-for-use green LED (6) to light up and proceed with the cooking

according to the desired plate position:

Cooking with touching plates

• Open the upper plate (8) completely [G].

• Insert the food only on the lower plate (9).

• Close the upper plate (8), placing it well on to the food, and make sure it remains

parallel to the lower plate (9) [C].

Cooking with open plates at 180°

• Open the upper plate (8) to 90° (slightly before being opened completely) and lift

it for the two upper pins to come out from the rear feet (7) [H].

• Turn the upper plate (8) 180° and insert the liquid drain tray (16) into the handle [I].

• Insert the food on both plates and turn it over halfway through cooking, if necessary

[D].

Cooking with parallel plates

• Open the upper plate (8) completely [G].

• Insert the food only on the lower plate (9).

• Move the upper plate slightly forward (8) to 90° (slightly before reaching the stroke

end) and lift it for the two upper pins to come out from the rear feet (7) [H].

• Pull and turn the upper plate forward (8) for the two pins to rest in the relative

housing [L].

• The ready-for-use green LED (6) goes off every now and again during

cooking to indicate that the plates are warming up, thereby guaranteeing the

pre-set temperature.

• Pay attention not to scratch the non-stick coating when removing the food.
