Example:

K factor set:

4 pulses / l

desired setpoint:

300 l / s

=>

frequency of flow rate sensor:
f = Q * k

f

frequency

= 300 l / s * 4 pulses / l

Q

flow rate

= 1200 Hz

K factor

=>

f > 1000 Hz, i. e. cannot be read in

=>

setpoint which can be set: 0 - 250 l / s
(corresponding to a frequency range of 0 - 1000 Hz)

=>

For higher flow rates, a sensor wiht a lower K factor must be
selected

Setting the setpoint: internal setpoint

With internal setpoint setting, the setpoint value for the flow rate is entered in the
previously set unit and stored. The device controls to this value.
Settings are possible between 0 and 655.2. If it is attempted to set a higher value,
the display will jump automatically to 0 and a value must be entered within the
range.
The decimal point cannot be set at the first (left-hand) position. The unit
corresponds to the value set in the menu item UNIT.
(factory setting: 0.00).
